Amazing Egypt Protest Violence footage in downtown Cairo filmed by Americans 28th Jan 2011 (1of2 HD)

Please share this video with as many people as possible. I think we were guided by a higher power that day to capture this video, as it was by accident that we ended up in this area when the train we boarded went the wrong way. There are additional videos after this one where the government thugs, dressed in plain clothes, clear the streets by beating people with sticks and a man pleads with the Police. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqUf94amrdg We stayed in Cairo before the Jan 25th violence broke out and came to respect and love the Egyptian people. Many Americans have a fear for this part of the world, however it is mostly caused by the media and politicians back home. Egyptians are the some of the most friendly, warm, and hospitable people I have ever met. The country of Egypt is very beautiful and some of the people here will invite you into their homes, even though you are a stranger. Once peace is restored with a government that cares for the common Egyptian, more Americans and Europeans should visit Egypt. This violence and protest is not about Muslims or Christians, it's not about Police being the good guys, it's not about angry young teens. It's about people wanting to be able to feed their kids, government cover ups, and too much energy that goes into controlling people instead of empowering them to make their community better. I found a postcard picture in Google Earth at Tahrir square from 1970 and the Egyptian city looks beautiful, smog free, and very clean. Since then, the people struggle on a dollar or two a day as prices have slowly risen and the infrastructure appears to be crumbling along with very bad air pollution. Everywhere you go, bribes will get you anywhere or out of anything in Egypt. It has become a way of life to supplement your income, because without these tips, you wouldn't have a roof over your head or food on the table. Below is an interview with a college educated Egyptian professional who welcomed us into him home with open arms to share his opinion. He claimed to not be political, but his message was so powerful that I transcribed it for those who might want to learn more about the real situation. As a side note, please feel free to re-distribute, broadcast, link, or share these videos as long as it is not for commercial use without permission. Any money collected from commercial publication will be donated to food organizations in Egypt to help feed the people in dire need. Higher resolution stills are available for news agencies. Interview below recorded with an Egyptian professional while fighting ensued and gun shots could be heard just outside his window: (American) So what do you think of what's going on here? (Young Egyptian Professional) I think this (proves of) using one ruler is just too much. They say it's Democracy, but it's one party ruling (over) the Parliament. There's some stuff going down there. We need the change. We need (a lot of) parties. We need another democracy to come up with the society. We need some people to interact with the political life, not just the ruling family for 30 years and now president Mubarak wants his son to be the next ruler. President Obama just came up and talked about this situation that we talked about, that the Egyptian government should take some critical moves (on) to improvements, in robbing the people and what they need and the policy of Mubarak must change to concentrate more on the interior issues, not on the exterior issues. To concentrate more about the people and their needs, and the low standard people. The people that their annual income will not exceed 1000 US Dollars. There are some people that in a lot of places here doesn't have water, doesn't have electricity. Ahh....those are the peoples that we are protesting too (for). Those are the people we are speaking too. I already have a house, I'm already working in a multi-national company, so I don't need this revolution anyway, but I'm out there, risking my ass to take my word up to the government and tell them that there's people that need you to listen. That you need to listen to them. That you need to respond to them.

"...while a nation goes speculation crazy the people neglect to think of fundamental principles." These were the words of Franklin Roosevelt in the months leading into the Democratic National Convention of 1932. Roosevelt knew that the fight for the United States Presidency was not simply a game of political machines and punditry, but that this coming fight demanded a leader who understood the historic enemy of the United States and the founding principles of the nation. Obama without his teleprompter

We clearly see Obama is a loss of words, well a loss of everything when he doesn't have his best friend at his side, literally; oh Mr. Prompter where did you go? Notice how uncomfortable he is...this goes to show any idiot can be president and we have the king of idiots to boot. John McCain asks a legitimate question and Obama turns into the joke-meister...funny guy, funny looking that is; watching him sweat and squirm. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Benjamin Franklin foreseeing the future about Barack Obama
